Gasping and out of breath she looked to see who she had run into. She looked up and then up even further. He had to be at least 6 feet 8 inches tall and as she tried to move back, he tightened his grip on her.
The deepest voice she had ever heard asked, “Where you going little lady?”
She was speechless and felt like she was standing there like a gaping fish.
“I’m sorry, you’re not allowed to be down here.” Grasping her arm in a viselike grip he starting moving her out in the opposite direction from where she had come. She tried to speak, but she was still gasping for breath from her run and the suddenness of her stop.
“Sir…I’m…looking…for Jon,” she managed to get out.
“I know, ma’am, most of the girls are, but you still aren’t allowed down here.” He kept up a fast pace and brought her along with him.
“Excuse me, Sir, please, you don’t understand…” she tried again.
“Yes, girlie, I do understand. My job is to keep people out and that’s what I’m doing.”
Amanda tried digging her heels in, but to no avail. He was simply too big to slow down, let alone stop.
“Sir, you have to stop, please, I’m here with Jon.”
“Do you know how many of you have tried that line with me?” his growl was low. “You don’t have a pass and you are out of here.” They had reached an outside gate by then and he opened it and shoved her through, closing the gate behind him.
“Wait! Please! I’m telling the truth!” He walked off, ignoring her completely, and disappeared back into the stadium.
Amanda stomped her foot in frustration and looked around to see if she could find someone to help her. A bit in the distance she saw a man and called out to him.
“Excuse me! Sir! Excuse me!” He ignored her also.
“Dammit to hell and back!” she screamed in frustration. Now what was she supposed to do?

Richie ran after Amanda once he had escaped the other four, laughing as he chased her, hearing her footfalls in the distance. He stopped to listen to see which way she had gone, then turned in another direction when he heard a sound come that way. Jon, David, Tico, and Hugh caught up with Richie and all five went in search of Amanda. After a good fifteen minutes, they were standing, looking at each other in confusion.
Jon growled, “Where the hell did she go?” He glared at Richie. “Hey, I was right behind her, she must be hiding somewhere.”
Now they all started calling her name, each going in different directions, but there was no answer and they met again ten minutes later. Jon was now getting worried and somehow knew that Amanda would not have continued the game with all of them calling her in increasingly frantic tones.
Richie looked at Jon. “Shit, man, where could she be? This isn’t like her. She would have answered.”
Jon agreed completely and started to head for the main security office with the others following behind. Reaching the office, he spoke with the head of security and explained they needed to immediately locate a woman by the name of Amanda Matthews. The information went out on the two-way radios as all security personnel were alerted to locate a subject fitting her description.
Amanda tried to find the entrance where she and Jon had driven in but she was so turned around from her run through the tunnels and she had no idea where that big brute had taken her that she actually ended up walking in the opposite direction she should have gone. She was moving along, trying to find someone she could ask for help or at least Jon’s car where she had left her cell phone, when suddenly a siren whooped behind her and a police car stopped. Two officer’s got out, hands close to weapons, and approached her.
“Are you Amanda Matthews?”
Breathing a sigh of relief, Amanda nodded, yes, she was Amanda Matthews. Quicker than spit she was spun around, forced over the hood of the patrol car and patted down. Her hands were brought behind her and she was handcuffed. Sputtering now, completely at a loss as to what the hell was happening, she tried to explain.
“Officers, I’m here with Jon Bon Jovi. He brought me here. I’m his girlfriend.” She heard one of the officers snort in disbelief. The events of the last half hour finally brought out her temper and she growled out at them.
“Fine. Take me to Jon.”
“Lady, you’re trespassing and if your mouth keeps running I’m going to add on resisting arrest. The only place you’re going is in for booking.”
“Booking!? Are you nuts? Dammit, take me to Jon!”
“Listen, lady, this is your last chance. Shut up or I start adding on charges!”
She grrr’d deep in her throat, but sat quietly in the back of the patrol car.
One of the officers radioed in that the suspect Amanda Matthews had been apprehended and was being taken to the county jail for booking. This came through loud and clear to all in the security office at Giants and Richie thought that Jon was going to murder someone.
Jon walked over to the head of security, his eyes flashing blue fire, and spoke in a low threatening tone.
“Let me make this perfectly clear. You call that asshole back and tell him to bring my girlfriend to the private entrance RIGHT THIS FUCKING SECOND!!”
Richie had a hold of Jon’s right arm as it was fisted and poised. Security got the officer on the radio and told him what Mr. Bon Jovi had said. The officer hesitated for a moment before replying, thinking that he and his partner had just stepped into a world of shit, and then radioed they were bringing her there immediately.
Jon, Richie, Tico, David, Hugh, and a few of the other security officers ran to the private entrance in time to see the patrol car pull up and one of the officer’s get Amanda out of the back seat. They also all saw the handcuffs on her. Jon stalked to the police car, with the rest of the band trying to get there to calm him down.
Turning to one of the officer’s, Jon spoke with deadly calm. “Get those handcuffs off her now.”
Her temper fine-tuned by this point, Amanda waited until the handcuffs were removed and then punched Jon right in the stomach.
Holy Hell! She is a feisty little thing, eh? I'll bet Richie is just loving this!
Lol talk about being pissed. Can't wait for Jon's reaction to being punched in the stomach by his girlfriend.
